Concordia's Geiseman Gymnasium dates back to 1925 with the construction of the older of its two gymnasiums (the South Gym). The North Gym was added in 1965 and has been the home for Cougar men's and women's basketball games and volleyball matches since that time. The typical capacity of the North Gym is 1,500 spectators, but additional balcony seating for high-profile events such as basketball's Concordia Invitational Tournament (CIT) will allow for as many as 2,500 spectators to rock the house. In the summer of 2014, the North Gym received an upgrade to its floor (see above).
Geiseman Gymnasium also houses the Cougars' athletic offices, classrooms, athletic training room and one of the campus' newest additions - a state-of-the-art Fitness Center offering cardiovascular and functional training equipment.
